Meter Reading Fee - due to member failing to submit readings for 3 consecutive months (90 days) or maintaining phone service on automatic metered accounts.

* The meter test fees listed above will be assessed as long as the meter test results are within the allowable limits. If the test results place the meter accuracy outside the allowable limits, no fee will be assessed.
Under reporting meter readings - if readings are discovered to be under reported by 10% or more
  • Fee billed for each occurrence
  • PA  State police may be called to investigate
  • Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) device may be installed accompanied with a $2 monthly fee
  • member may be placed on the "monthly read list" list and billed $10/ month

Meter / Service Tampering ( 1st  offense) -    In addition, the account is immediately disconnected and will be reconnected only if  the total cost of the estimated kilowatt-hours stolen, trip charge, and any additional balances are paid in full. $150.00
