Dear New Member:
We
would like to
welcome you as a new member of New Enterprise Rural Electric Cooperative,
Inc. New Enterprise REC may be
different from other utility companies from which you have received electric
service; we are a non-profit, consumer owned, rural electric system. There are no stockholders who profit from
the dollars you pay toward your electric bills.
I would like to share
some facts about New Enterprise Rural Electric Cooperative that you may not
know.
As a non-profit
cooperative, New Enterprise REC's affairs are governed by an eight member board
of directors. The members of the
cooperative elect these directors for three-year terms at the annual meeting
held every June.
New Enterprise REC
serves a little over 3400 homes, farms, and businesses with 425 miles of line
in Bedford, Fulton, and Huntingdon Counties.
We have eleven employees - seven outside and four inside including our
General Manager/CEO, Rick L. Eichelberger.
We make every effort to keep our rates as low as possible and still
maintain the quality of service that you expect and deserve.
Each employee of New
Enterprise Rural Electric is committed to service excellence. I ask you to take a few moments to complete
our member satifaction survey. This will
help us to better serve you, our consumer-member. Should you ever have any questions or complaints, feel free to
call, e-mail us or drop by our office. We will do
our best to see your problem is corrected.
Cooperatively yours,
New
Enterprise Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc.
